We are a faith based and non - denominational program. All clients admitted will be based on medical necessity.
Cornerstone Treatment Center is honored to out serve and provides services throughout 115 counties in the state of Missouri to ensure access to mental health via in person or telehealth. Staff members include psychiatrists, therapists, counselors, and nurses.
We provide pediatric and adolescent psychiatric services for ages 5 to 17. Our programs provide a full wrap around to ensure each client obtains individualized care.

Individual Therapy
We provide individual therapy for clients five days a week or once a week with group therapy based on medical necessity.

Group Therapy
Our child and adolescent mental health services provide outpatient treatment through two formats. In our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), clients take part in individual, group, and family therapy, as well as holistic, activity-based therapy like art, music, and cinema therapy - five days a week (Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 12:30 pm).
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) meets less frequently - three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30am to 12:30 pm).

Family Therapy
Family therapy is provided once a week with client present to ensure success of client continuum of care.

Residential Treatment - Long Term Care
Our programs are live-in healthcare facility that provide a structured environment with robust programming.
A residential schedule for children ages 5 to 17 includes individualized clinical care, activities, and academics. While in residential treatment, clients live in a comfortable, upscale setting and are supervised by trained staff.
Bed preservation available for children displaced in foster care and must accompany a referral from child protective services. Our residential treatment program welcomes clients all throughout the United States.

FREE MENTAL HEALTH SCREENING
Cornerstone Treatment Center
provides free mental health screenings for children ages 5 to 17.
Steps to schedule an assessment.
1. Complete mental health screening.
2. Once admissions receives completed screening an admissions coordinator will contact you to schedule initial intake assessment.
3. Upon completion of assessment business office will contact you to review your insurance and obtain approval to start programming.
4. Front desk coordinator will contact you to schedule your first day.
EDUCATION
Our clients education is important placing their mental health first. Clients will remain enrolled in their school and parents / guardian will be responsible to pick up home work and return completed home work each week.
We also work with children, schools, and families when it’s time to reintegrate back to school, to make the transition as smooth as possible providing schools a minimum of 48 hours prior to returning.
Our admissions team will ensure that an excuse note will be provided upon each completed visit.
INSURANCE
Cornerstone Treatment Center accepts all in and out of state Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance.
All services require a pre - authorization.
In the event we are not in network - a single case authorization must be provided prior to starting treatment.
All co - pays, deductibles, and co - insurance required upon each visit.
PROGRAMMING TEAM
Psychiatrist
Responsible for coordinating your overall care, prescribing medication and other procedures that are appropriate components of your treatment. The medical staff makes all discharge decisions.
Registered Nurse
Performs duties as prescribed by a physician, including administering medication, observing your behavior, and reporting on your conditions to treatment team members.
Client Care Coordinator (CCC)
Assists you through your daily routine.
Recreational/Activity Therapist
Provides therapy through games, crafts, leisure education, creative expression, relaxation training and more. Examples of this type of therapy are pet, music, art and pilates.
Therapist/Social Worker
Provides evidence-based individual therapy, family therapy, and group.
